You can also sign up for volunteer opportunities through NextGen. We have a limited list of ways to give back, and this list will change as more opportunities are made available. Please contact nextgen@edmonton.ca if you have questions about any of the opportunities listed below.

Current volunteer opportunities:

Fashion with Compassion needs volunteers for set up on October 26 (time TBD), for luncheon fundraising activities (10:30-2:00) Oct 27, gala fundraising activities (5:30-10:30) Oct 27 and tear down (11:30-1:00am). 

Sport Central is looking for ongoing volunteers to help with client outfitting and equipment sorting. Times are flexible, and training will be provided. 

The Bissell Centre needs ongoing volunteers to help to organize food donations, assist with serving meals for a variety of programs. 

The Centre for Family Literacy has an ongoing need for volunteer tutors to work one-on-one with adults who want to improve their reading, writing or math skills. Training is provided (Nine hours total over three evenings: October 12, 18 and 26) and a minimum monthly 2-hour commitment is required.
